Class offerings

  • At Raydance, Tap training will be provided at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels by professional instructors. The specific styles of tap that dancers will be receiving training in are hoofing and rhythmic tap. Tap is a mandatory genre at our studio for all enrolled competition company and recreational dancers.

  • Training in Jazz will be provided at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Jazz technique training will be provided to our students on a weekly basis so that it becomes easier to pick up on the different styles of jazz that they may receive from our studio faculty. Our students can expect to receive a mix of traditional, commercial, and contemporary jazz training.

  • Hip-hop training will be provided at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The specific style of hip-hop that will be provided on a regular basis at the studio is commercial hip-hop.

  • Contemporary training will be provided at intermediate and advanced levels. (Prerequisite(s): Our enrolled students must be enrolled as a competition company dancer to receive weekly training in this genre.)

  • Ballet training will be provided at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. It is a mandatory genre at our studio for all enrolled competition company and recreational dancers.

  • Lyrical training will be provided at intermediate and advanced levels. (Prerequisite(s): Our enrolled students must be enrolled as a competition company dancer to receive weekly training in this genre.)

  • Open combo classes and/or master classes are held every month at our studio for intermediate and advanced-level dancers. These classes are taught by our studio instructors and by guest instructors who are regionally or nationally known within the dance industry. 

     

    The genres taught in these classes will vary depending on the instructor. Our open combo class schedule can be viewed by clicking the "book online" tab on our homepage, or by visiting us on social media (Instagram & Facebook).
