Raydance Entertainment Academy is a dance studio that offers quality dance training at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The studio welcomes those passionate about dance who seek to grow their craft. The studio offers tap, hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, ballet, and lyrical training for kids and adults. There are programs for recreation and competitive dancing.
At Raydance, we value versatility and encourage our dancers to become proficient in multiple genres. To us, being well-rounded is key to becoming a successful dancer and performer. Whether our dancers intend to continue their craft professionally or only seek to dance for their enjoyment, we have programs that will meet each desire. Our team dedicates itself to fostering a positive and encouraging environment free of judgment for all clients.

ramone Thomas
Ramone is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, with 18 years of experience in the performing arts and entertainment industry. He graduated from Fayetteville State University, with a bachelor’s degree in communication and mass media studies. The trademark genre he is most commonly known for is Tap.
As a competitive dancer, he achieved many titles as a child and has been regionally and nationally recognized for his outstanding talent and unique stage presence.
As he continued to progress, he expanded his craft to new heights as a choreographer and creative director. He now works professionally within the entertainment industry, setting choreography for live events, instructing at dance conventions and intensives, and directing/producing film projects. As the owner and creative director of Raydance Entertainment Academy and its performance company, Fusion Art Collective, he uses his platform to develop and enhance aspiring artists while exposing them to new audiences.
Ramone is an enthusiastic and driven individual who values hard work and is committed to developing future generations of dancers and artists.

Asia is a native of Charlotte, NC, with 17 years of dance experience. She graduated from Fayetteville State University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a minor in dance.
Asia continues her career in entertainment as a dance teacher/choreographer and the assistant director of the performing arts company Fusion Art Collective. She also competes in the Miss America Organization and fosters a deep understanding of on-stage presence and how to present oneself with grace and poise.
Asia’s deep passion for dance and fine arts has influenced her to pass on her knowledge to future generations of dancers.

Mae Hinson is from Charlotte, NC with 20 years of dance experience. She graduated from Wingate University with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education.
After graduating from high school, Mae continued her dance education within the Contemporary Dance Ensemble at Virginia Tech. She then transitioned into a dance teacher role for competition and recreational students of all ages. She is currently both a dance teacher of multiple genres and a Kindergarten teacher.
Mae is excited to bring together both her passion for dance and education into the studio!

Macy has been in the dance industry for over sixteen years. She started dancing at the age of five years old and danced competitively for over 13 years. She has trained extensively in multiple genres that include Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and Ballet, as well as attending weekly technique classes throughout her years of dance.
During her time on the competitive stage, she has received many elite awards over the years, including perfect scores and first overall awards at various competitions.
Macy has attended multiple master classes, camps, and conventions, with names like Shannon Mather, Blake McGrath, Mandi Rogers, Dale Lam, Terry Schulke, Justin Giles, Frankie Zulferino, Troy Brown, Ryan Kirby, Willdabeast Adams, and more.
Her love of dance is fierce, as well as her commitment to bringing out the best in each and every dancer she encounters.

Kaylin Wilson is a Charlotte, NC native with over 20 years of dance and performance training. Kaylin possesses dynamic talent as she is trained in multiple styles including Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Modern, Ballet, and more! She was a competitive dancer through school, and now is a faculty member with Nexstar Talent Competition.
Kaylin has been teaching dance since she was 14 years old and has worked with children from many different backgrounds and cultures. She continues to share her passion for teaching as she works with multiple dance studios, has taught at dance intensives, and has choreographed many award-winning routines.
Kaylin’s passion, dedication, and precision not only motivate her to keep evolving as an artist but also strengthen her commitment to pour into young dancers and push them to their fullest potential.
